Overview
kibana is an open source (Apache Licensed), browser-based analytics and search dashboard for Elasticsearch.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion via the simulate pipeline API endpoint. An attacker can cause the creation of a self-referential data structure that, when processed by an internal component, leads to unbounded recursion and a fatal error, resulting in process termination by submitting a specially crafted request.
