Overview

kibana is an open source (Apache Licensed), browser-based analytics and search dashboard for Elasticsearch.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value via the highlighting. An attacker can cause excessive memory allocation by submitting a specially crafted search request with a large count value, resulting in memory exhaustion and termination of the node process.
