Overview
kibana is an open source (Apache Licensed), browser-based analytics and search dashboard for Elasticsearch.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value via the search. An attacker can exhaust system memory and cause the affected node to terminate by submitting a specially crafted request that triggers excessive memory allocation.
Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker is an authenticated user with read privileges on a single index.
