Overview

kibana is an open source (Apache Licensed), browser-based analytics and search dashboard for Elasticsearch.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncaught Exception via improper handling of specially crafted input. An attacker can cause the service to terminate unexpectedly by supplying specially crafted input data, resulting in the application becoming unavailable to all users until it is restarted. This condition can be triggered repeatedly by an authenticated user with low-privileged access.
