The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

launch-editor is a launch editor from node.js
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via constructWindowsLaunchCommand in packages/launch-editor/construct-windows-launch-command.js, where file path arguments containing % characters are passed unsanitized to childProcess.exec on Windows. CMD expands percent-delimited expressions such as %VAR:old=new% before consuming caret escapes, allowing an attacker who controls the file path argument to inject arbitrary OS commands through environment variable expansion. Arguments containing line breaks are similarly not rejected, as CMD treats line breaks as command separators.
Note: This is only exploitable on Windows platforms.
