Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via incomplete map32 header detection in lib/decoder.js. The SIZES lookup table was missing an entry for the 0xdf (map32) format code, meaning the decoder did not validate that a buffer contained enough bytes to hold a complete map32 header. An attacker can send a truncated map32-encoded message to trigger a crash.
