Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Unsafe Dependency Resolution via the Git node process, leading to code execution. A user can execute arbitrary system commands by setting a malicious core.hooksPath configuration and including a crafted Git hook in a repository, which is then triggered during Git operations. This is only exploitable if the attacker has the ability to create or modify a workflow that uses the Git node.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by excluding the Git node.
