Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Open Redirect via the Form Node when an authenticated user with workflow creation or modification permissions configures an unsanitized HTML description field or leverages an overly permissive iframe sandbox policy. An attacker can inject malicious scripts or redirect end users to arbitrary external URLs by crafting a specially designed form, potentially facilitating phishing attacks.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by limiting workflow creation and editing permissions to fully trusted users only, or by disabling the Form node and Form Trigger node using the NODES_EXCLUDE environment variable.
