Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through the handleStateApi, handleRestoreApi, and handleHistorySvgApi POST handlers in the HTTP server. An attacker can exhaust memory and destabilize the process by sending oversized request bodies to /api/state, /api/restore, or /api/history-svg, because each handler accumulates the entire body in a string before parsing it as JSON. This can crash the server or make the MCP endpoints unavailable to legitimate users.
