Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input via the addressparser module's handling of quoted local-part addresses. When an address of the form "user"@good-corp.com(x)evil.com is parsed, the comment token ends the domain but leaves the trailing atoms in the same text buffer as the mailbox, causing the parser to produce the address user@good-corp.com evil.com. An application that validates the address it receives can be bypassed by supplying a quoted local-part spelling of the same value, allowing an attacker to inject a second, attacker-controlled domain into the envelope recipient.
