Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Exposed Dangerous Method or Function in the VMRunner.runCodeInNodeVM() function in Synthetic Monitors when untrusted code is executed inside a Node.js virtual machine context with live Playwright browser and page objects injected. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the server by supplying malicious code that leverages the exposed Playwright APIs to spawn attacker-controlled executables.
