Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function via the HTTP endpoints for profile management. An attacker can read or modify sensitive profile information and persist unauthorized changes to the configuration by sending unauthenticated requests to the affected endpoints.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting gateway HTTP exposure to loopback-only interfaces and/or enforcing network-layer access controls.
