Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function due to missing authentication when starting sandbox browser bridge server. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to browser control endpoints, enumerate open tabs, retrieve WebSocket URLs, execute JavaScript in page contexts, and exfiltrate session data by sending requests from a local process to the exposed server port.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the sandboxed browser (agents.defaults.sandbox.browser.enabled=false).
