Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via the tools.exec.safeBins process. An attacker can execute unauthorized binaries by manipulating the process PATH environment to introduce trojan executables with allowlisted names before the gateway startup. This is only exploitable if the attacker can control the gateway launch environment or influence PATH resolution prior to process initialization.
