Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information via the ws:// gateway endpoint. An attacker can intercept sensitive information by redirecting clients to malicious endpoints or forging discovery results, causing credentials to be transmitted in cleartext over unencrypted connections.
