Overview

openclaw is a 🦞 OpenClaw — Personal AI Assistant

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Untrusted Search Path via the STATE_DIRECTORY environment variable during runtime dependency root resolution. An attacker can cause unintended loading of bundled runtime dependencies from a local state path by influencing the value of STATE_DIRECTORY in a workspace .env file. This is only exploitable if a trusted operator opens a repository containing a crafted .env file that sets STATE_DIRECTORY before dependency resolution.
