Overview

openclaw is a 🦞 OpenClaw — Personal AI Assistant

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Untrusted Search Path via the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON environment variable in the .env file during the Gmail setup process. An attacker can cause unintended Python runtime execution by manipulating the environment variable to point to a malicious or unintended Python interpreter path. This is only exploitable if a workspace .env file is present and the affected feature is enabled and reachable.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by running Gmail setup only from trusted workspaces and clearing workspace environment overrides until a patch is applied.
