openclaw is a 🦞 OpenClaw — Personal AI Assistant
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the video asset download flow, which fetches provider-returned URLs without applying network destination checks used for untrusted remote URLs. A malicious or compromised provider can return a private or loopback URL in response to a video generation request, causing the CLI to issue a server-side request to internal services reachable from the OpenClaw host. Practical impact depends on the services accessible from that host.
Note: This is only exploitable when a video-generation provider that returns a remote asset URL is in use and that provider is malicious or compromised.
