How to fix?

Upgrade @pnpm/store.cafs to version 1000.1.3 or higher.

Overview

@pnpm/store.cafs is a content-addressable filesystem for the packages storage

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Symlink Attack via the handling file: or git: dependencies, which follow symlinks without restricting access to the package root. An attacker can access and exfiltrate arbitrary files from the filesystem by introducing malicious symlinks that point to sensitive locations.

Note: Exploitation requires the attacker to publish and convince the user to install a malicious package.
