Overview
vm2 is a sandbox that can run untrusted code with whitelisted Node's built-in modules.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Protection Mechanism Failure in the Promise.prototype.finally process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by crafting an async function that returns a Promise with a malicious constructor using Symbol.species, which allows access to the host Function constructor and process object.
