Overview
vm2 is a sandbox that can run untrusted code with whitelisted Node's built-in modules.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Process Control in the crypto.setEngine function. An attacker can execute arbitrary native code in the host process by supplying a path to a malicious native library, which is then loaded and executed with host-process authority. This is only exploitable if the crypto builtin is allowed in the sandbox.
