Overview
vm2 is a sandbox that can run untrusted code with whitelisted Node's built-in modules.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Defaults via the require process in the CLI tool. An attacker can execute arbitrary code in the host environment by supplying a malicious script that leverages require(__filename) to escape the sandbox and access host modules.
