Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function in the install route guard process when the database is temporarily unreachable and the cache is empty. An attacker can gain full control over the application by sending crafted POST requests to overwrite the .env file with attacker-controlled database credentials, leading to application takeover, credential theft, and data integrity loss. This is only exploitable if the database is unreachable at the same time the cache has expired or been cleared.
