codeigniter4/framework is a PHP full-stack web framework that is light, fast, flexible, and secure.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload via the is_image or mime_in upload validation rules. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with a malicious extension when the application saves uploads using the client-supplied filename and stores them in a web-accessible directory where script execution is enabled. This is only exploitable if uploads are validated solely with is_image or mime_in, saved with the original client filename, and placed in a directory where executable files can run.
