Overview

contao/core-bundle is an Open Source PHP Content Management System for people who want a professional website that is easy to maintain.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type via the file manager due to improper file type validation, allowing an attacker with backend rights to upload malicious files. Exploiting this vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the server.

Workaround

Configure your web server to not execute PHP files and other scripts in the Contao file upload directory.
