Overview

craftcms/cms is a content management system.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the actionSendActivationEmail function. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to user accounts or enumerate user states by submitting arbitrary userId parameters without ownership verification. This allows triggering activation emails for any pending user, potentially leading to account takeover if the attacker controls the target email address, or to user enumeration by brute-forcing user IDs.
