Overview

drupal/core is an an open source content management platform powering millions of websites and applications.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure such that in certain scenarios, the JSON:API module outputs error backtraces. An attacker can gain access to sensitive information and escalate privileges by exploiting this behavior.

Note:

This is only exploitable if the JSON:API module is enabled. Drupal 7 is not affected.

Mitigation:

This vulnerability can be mitigated by uninstalling the JSON:API module.
