Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Enforcement of Behavioral Workflow through the improper handling of recovery codes in app-based multi-factor authentication. An attacker can gain multiple authenticated sessions by submitting the same recovery code concurrently. This is only exploitable if recovery codes are enabled and the attacker has access to both the user's password and their recovery codes.
