Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') via the DomainZones.add process. An attacker can inject unauthorized DNS resource records by submitting specially crafted values in the record or type fields containing line delimiters, tab characters, or comment delimiters, which are not properly validated before being written to BIND zone files. This can result in loss of DNS zone integrity and potential disruption of DNS availability within the attacker's manageable domain zone. This is only exploitable if the attacker is an authenticated customer with DNS-zone permissions.
