froxlor/froxlor is a server administration software.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition through a race condition in the SshKeys::generateFiles process. An attacker can gain unauthorized root access by atomically replacing their ~/.ssh directory with a symlink after the initial validation but before the privileged write operation, causing the cron job to append their public key to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys and change ownership of /root/.ssh to the attacker. This is only exploitable if the non-default setting system.allow_customer_shell=1 is enabled, granting customers local shell access.
