Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authentication in the login.regenerate2FASecret process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access by submitting a correct password for a victim and invoking the process during the pending TOTP challenge, which allows overwriting the twofa_secret, reading the new secret from the response, calculating a valid code, and completing authentication without the second factor.
