CVE NOT AVAILABLE CWE-434  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade ibexa/core to version 4.5.6, 4.6.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload during the process of saving content drafts. Files with blacklisted extensions can still be saved to drafts despite failing file type validation. This allows unwanted files to be present in storage, although not easily accessible since the content is not published.

Note:

An attacker would need to have existing access to create content with a file field type to exploit this.
