CWE-89  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade impresscms/impresscms to version 1.4.4 or higher.

Overview

impresscms/impresscms is an open source content management system with a focus on security and speed.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to SQL Injection due to missing sanitization of the user input which is passed through the "groups" POST parameter and then to icms_member_Handler::getUserCountByGroupLink() and icms_member_Handler::getUsersByGroupLink() methods. These methods use the first argument to construct a SQL query without proper validation, and this can be exploited by remote attackers.
