How to fix?

Upgrade kimai/kimai to version 2.46.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine via the export process. An attacker with export permissions can access sensitive information, including environment variables, user password hashes, serialized session tokens, and CSRF tokens by submitting a crafted Twig template with arbitrary method calls.

Note: One of the environment variables, which the attacker can obtain (APP_SECRET) can be used to forge Symfony login links for ANY user account, expanding the attack beyond the initially compromised admin context.
