Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password through the password reset process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to user accounts by submitting a password reset request with a spoofed Host header, causing the system to send a reset link containing a valid token to the victim with an attacker-controlled hostname. When the recipient or an automated link scanner accesses the link, the reset token is disclosed to the attacker, who can then use it to reset the password and take over the account.
