Overview

mantisbt/mantisbt is a mantis bug tracker.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the mci_check_login function in the SOAP API. An attacker can gain unauthorized administrator access by supplying a valid cookie_string and a known username, allowing full control over the application, including reading and modifying all issues, exfiltrating sensitive data, and performing destructive operations through the SOAP API. This is only exploitable if self-registration is enabled.
