mediawiki/core is a Free software wiki application developed by the Wikimedia Foundation and others.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes via the legacy parser's magic word replacement mechanism in the CoreParserFunctions and Sanitizer components. An attacker can manipulate reserved data attributes and cause unauthorized content changes by crafting malicious wikitext input.
