Upgrade moodle/moodle to version 3.9.17, 3.11.10, 4.0.4 or higher.

Overview

moodle/moodle is a learning platform.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure in the get_report() function in h5pactivity/report.php and h5pactivity/classes/local/manager.php and the get_active_users_join() function in h5pactivity/classes/local/report/participants.php, which reveal unauthorized information about other users without filtering by group when a user generates an H5P activity attempts report.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be avoided by removing the mod/h5pactivity:reviewattempts capability from a user or users.
