Upgrade moodle/moodle to version 2.6.7, 2.7.4, 2.8.2 or higher.

Overview

moodle/moodle is a learning platform.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) via the auth/shibboleth/logout.php endpoint. An attacker can hijack the authentication of arbitrary users for requests that trigger a logout.

Workaround

Administrators can deny access to file auth/shibboleth/logout.php in webserver configuration.
