How to fix?

Upgrade moodle/moodle to version 4.3.4 or higher.

Overview

moodle/moodle is a learning platform.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation due to insufficient validation mechanisms on the login page. An attacker can bypass security measures by submitting requests that omit expected verification tokens.

Note

This did not affect other pages where ReCAPTCHA is utilized.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by ensuring that ReCAPTCHA is properly enabled and configured on all authentication-related pages.
