Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the processing of unvalidated enclosure URLs in podcast episode feeds. An attacker can access sensitive internal resources and exfiltrate data by supplying a crafted RSS feed containing episode entries with URLs pointing to internal network endpoints. This allows the attacker to retrieve the full HTTP response from internal services, such as cloud metadata endpoints or internal APIs, when the episode is played.
