Overview

phpseclib/phpseclib is a PHP Secure Communications Library - Pure-PHP implementations of RSA, AES, SSH2, SFTP, X.509 etc.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions that allows an attacker to cause denial of service by sending a certificate containing an ASN.1 object identifier of a certificate containing a very large sub identifier. This can consume excessive CPU during _decodeOID execution in ASN1.php.
