Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Infinite loop via the ChunkedDecoder::handleData process. An attacker can cause the process to enter an infinite loop and exhaust CPU resources by sending a malformed HTTP message with Transfer-Encoding: chunked that exploits specific buffer handling logic. This can be triggered by a malicious client targeting a server or by a malicious server targeting a client. This is only exploitable if the application is not behind a reverse proxy that normalizes HTTP requests on the server side.
