How to fix?

Upgrade snipe/snipe-it to version 8.6.0 or higher.

Overview

snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization in the CSV import process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to other user accounts by uploading a crafted CSV file to overwrite non-admin user email addresses and then triggering a password reset. This is only exploitable if the attacker has been granted import privileges by a superadmin.
