How to fix?

Upgrade snipe/snipe-it to version 8.6.2 or higher.

Overview

snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the POST /api/v1/kits/{kit_id}/licenses endpoint. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to and manipulate license objects by submitting requests that bind licenses they should not be able to access or manage into a kit. This is only exploitable if the attacker has predefined-kit permissions but lacks access to the targeted license object.
