Overview
snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to CSV Injection via the downloadLocationScopingReport process. An attacker can execute arbitrary spreadsheet formulas in the context of a privileged user's spreadsheet application by injecting formula strings into free-text fields that are later exported to CSV and opened by the victim. This is only exploitable if a superuser downloads the affected CSV export and opens it in a spreadsheet application with formula evaluation enabled and external-content warnings dismissed or disabled.
