How to fix?

Upgrade snipe/snipe-it to version 8.7.0 or higher.

Overview

snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the employee_num field in the acceptance PDF generation process. An attacker can cause the server to make arbitrary HTTP(S) requests to internal or external resources by injecting a crafted value containing an img tag, which is processed when a victim signs an asset acceptance. This is only exploitable if the attacker has users.edit permission and a victim triggers the PDF generation.
