Overview
snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Unchecked Return Value in the handleImages process. An attacker can cause unrecoverable loss of existing images and create a persistent inconsistency between the database and disk by submitting an image upload while the storage backend experiences a transient failure, such as a network error, permission issue, or quota exhaustion. This is only exploitable if a legitimate authenticated user uploads an image during a storage backend failure.
