Overview
snipe/snipe-it is an asset management system built on Laravel.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in the store and update functions of the API user controller, where user records are saved before verifying that the submitted company identifiers are within the actor's permitted companies. An attacker can assign user accounts to unauthorized companies, including creating or relocating accounts across tenant boundaries, by submitting company identifiers outside their allowed scope. This is only exploitable if Full Multiple Companies Support is enabled and the null_company_is_floater setting is set to 1.
