CWE-918  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade statamic/cms to version 5.73.11, 6.4.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Glide when operating in insecure mode. An unauthenticated attacker can access internal services and cloud metadata endpoints by supplying arbitrary URLs to the image proxy or watermark feature. This is only exploitable if the insecure mode is enabled in the configuration.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling insecure mode in the Glide configuration.
